The use of glass fiber reinforcement has many advantages because the glass strands span the full width of the elements, and liquid plaster expands slightly on setting, the stands are pulled into tension by the plaster resulting in a naturally pre-stressed structure.
In addition to that, G.R.G elements are unaffected by humidity levels up to 95% R.H. They are non-combustible and will not support the growth of bacteria and other micro organisms.
Finally, G.R.G does not deteriorate with ages under normal conditions, and there is no known reason why this material should not last the lifetime of the building.
